Animal Motel is a family owned business located near Butler and Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin and has been operated by the Gutknecht family since 1960. For more than sixty years, Animal Motel has been serving animals including providing group doggy day care and boarding. Daryl Gutknecht is a Certified Kennel Operator and is the 2nd generation owner of Animal Motel along with his partner Michael.

The Animal Motel team usually consists of around 30 employees. Many employees are certified or in the process of being certified as Pet Care Specialists through IBPSA – International Boarding & Pet Services Association and a Certified Professional Animal Care Provider through PACCC – Professional Animal Care Certification Council.

Everyone on the Animal Motel team sincerely loves pets. Each team member has made a personal commitment to keep all boarding areas sanitized and to extend loving care to each individual guest for whom they are responsible.
